“I think we had a strong summer as a team. Everybody is getting better and we are just going to continue to work hard to make sure we are ready for the season”
Potomac is going to go through Melvin in the post this upcoming season as he is their loan big man and he has embraced that role.
“My role is to be the leader and get my guy’s going whether it is offensively or defensively. I always have to protect the rim being the biggest guy on the team.
After DMV Live 1 and DMV Live 2, he started to hear from more and more colleges.
“I am starting to hear from more and more coaches, it is definitely picking up.”
Two local schools have really stood out to him and he briefly discussed them with us.
Loyola (MD): “I took a visit after DMV Live 1, they have a nice campus, I like the coach and we have had a lot of good conversation.”
American: “I have been talking to the coaches on the phone, we have been having good conversation ever since we played in American team camp.
Melvin is currently the 26th ranked prospect in our 2020 Virginia State rankings.
