Richard Isaac’s 6’2 Guard Coronado – Issacs is #34 on our list. “Pop” has had a fabulous summer. He was the key player on the Vegas Elite 16U team that lost a heart breaker at the buzzer to eventual Champion Team Griffith at Peach Jam. He also took home a gold medal playing with the USA 16U squad in Brazil. Issacs is a traditional point who controls the offense and puts his teammates in positions to succeed. Not the greatest athlete, however Issacs doesn’t have any other glaring weaknesses.
Milos Uzan 6’2 Guard Desert Pines – Uzan is #76 on our list. Milos is a slick PG who delivers pinpoint accurate passes. He hits guys on time and on target. More of a slight of hand ball – handler as opposed to someone who is going to blow by you, Uzan uses change of direction and change of speeds to keep defenders off balance. He needs to improve his outside shooting, but as a pure PG he is one of the tops in the nation.
Joshua Jefferson 6’6 F Liberty – Jefferson comes in at #78. He has had a meteoric rise this summer playing for the famed Dream Vision squad in Southern California. Jefferson is a load on the block, but also skilled enough to step out and knock down mid – range jump shots. He’s a dominant rebounder and is a willing rim protector.
Max Allen 6’8 F Bishop Gorman –Big Max cracks our list at #99. As his name implies the 6’8 270 pound forward is a large human. He has good hands and nice touch out to about 15 feet. Defensively he is a banger who makes it difficult for the offensive player to establish any kind of post space. He usually drives his opposing post player two to three feet away from his comfort zone. He’s going to need to improve his athletic ability and increase his range if he wants to climb up this list, however he has the dedication and work ethic to do it.
Ryan Ableman 6’2 G Bishop Gorman – Ableman is #171 on our list. He is a shooter supreme, with great mechanics and a smooth release. Right now he gets his shots mostly off of catch and shoots or 1 dribble pull ups. Needs to improve his ballhandling and defensive versatility if he wants to move up this list, however he does have the signature skill of shooting, that should allow him to earn a low to mid major scholarship.
