Cooper Gudell 2021 Next Level Elite– Gudell got going early and stayed hot the whole game. I haven’t seen anyone get hot like this kid, if he hits his first then you’re in trouble. In his first Sunday game, Gudell hit SEVEN threes… in the first half. He finished with multiple 20 point games, including a 27 point outburst. He lights up the scoreboard and shoots with range. Half of his threes were three feet behind the line. He has an extremely quick release to go along with his shot. Gudell has nice size for a guard and is super long, it’s been a nice summer for him.
Will Haas 2020 RSE Elite– The RSE Elite guard carries this team. He leads them in scoring pouring in more than twenty every game. Haas is so smooth and his one of the purest forms I’ve seen this summer. If he’s open, it’s going in. He’s a great shooter off the catch and off the dribble and he really is a game changer. He shot the ball exceptionally well this weekend. He also has a good looking midrange and nice touch on floaters. Haas can really go.
Daylan Hamilton 2020 Team Harden– This kid can really fill it up. Hamilton proved he was an outstanding shooter this weekend knocking down three after three. He was on fire in the first Sunday game. He also is a 90% guy from the line, he just doesn’t miss free throws. He was huge for his team, using his extended range to help all weekend. He was clutch and consistent, keep an eye on him because he can really stroke it from long range.
Jabari Chambers 2020 FOE Elite– Chambers sparked the FOE run that led to their big win over Team Harden. He hit clutch shot after clutch shot, and all of them were triples. Chambers isn’t scared of the big moment and he doesn’t miss from deep. His made shots gave his team energy that won them the game. He can flat out shoot.
Brayden Dutton 2022 H&H– All that needs to be said is that this kid scored 26 points in the second half alone. He caught absolute fire from deep hitting four threes in a row with a hand in his face. Dutton was shooting tough shots off the dribble and getting them all to fall. This kid can shoot from anywhere and is the real deal. His team was down almost 30 in the second half and he WILLED them back into the game.
Jordan Thompson 2020 Buddy Buckets– Sometimes his shooting gets overlooked because of how good he is at everything else, but this kid might be the best shooter in the state. He has an extremely quick release and is so crafty with the ball, he makes separation look easy. He had several nice step backs in the championship game. He can pull up from anywhere and is just a knock down shooter. I was really impressed with Thompson this weekend.
