Barry Dunning (Alabama Fusion 15U)
Dunning impressed us early in the week on the 15U level. Explosive slashing combo forward that scored well from the mid-post area in. Finished dump off passes inside and converted with power at the rim.
Mike Peake (MoKan 17U)
Peake was one of my biggest stock risers of the week. The face up four man came off the bench for MoKan playing his role and helping them win the 17U crown. Super bouncy around the hoop catching lobs, being quick to the glass, and blocking shots. Also hit at least one three in almost every game we saw.
Coban Porter (MoKan 17U)
Porter is the younger brother of Jontay and Michael Porter, but hasn’t gotten a ton of attention on the recruiting trail. We would expect that to change after a strong showing in North Augusta. Porter has quality size and proved to be a plus three point threat off the catch.
Kameron Woods (Nightrydas 17U)
Woods opened our eyes to what he can bring to the table with a solid week. The point guard runs the show pushing the tempo and running with his guys in the open floor. Also can score it with range on his shot to beyond the three point arc.
Jayden Stone (Nightrydas 17U)
Stone played next to Woods in the Nightrydas backcourt. He is a tough two guard that can shoot it from three. Quality shooter off the catch.
D’Andre Davis (Indy Heat 17U)
Davis is a big and physical two guard that is wired to score! Gets to the foul line a lot because of his non-stop attacking mentality. Also finishes well in the paint with acrobatic conversions. Pull up three point shot was a weapon as well. Like his potential defensively on the perimeter with his size and toughness. Headed to Nebraska.
Marcus Watson (Mac Irvin Fire 17U)
Watson has steadily seen his stock rise with his play on the Nike EYBL circuit. He has an explosive burst with the ball in his hands. Watson gets to the rim where he converts athletic layups before the big man can get there. Plays with so much energy. Pushes in the open floor. Quality passer that makes others around him better.
Noah Taitz (Vegas Elite 17U)
Taitz can really score it. Combo guard that can play both on and off the ball. Clean looking shooting stroke is his biggest asset. Plus shooter from three that drilled an array of shots from deep.
Mwani Wilkinson (Vegas Elite 17U)
Wilkinson was a prospect that we thought was a major sleeper after the week he put together. Athletic small forward that can score in a variety of ways. Rangy defender who can check multiple perimeter positions. Versatile forward with upside.
Devan Cambridge (AOT 17U)
Cambridge jumped off the floor in a game that featured many star players. Big time rim protector that swatted an array of shots. Played above the rim offensively as well catching alley-oops and converting an array of and-1s. The lengthy forward is so explosive in the paint and can hit a mid-range jumper on occasion.
Carlos Johnson (The Family 17U)
Johnson is a junk yard dog four man who plays with energy on the interior. Rebounds well with his thick body. Can also step out and really shoot it from the perimeter knocking down mid-range and threes at a high rate. Classic Big 10 four man.
Jaxson Robinson (Team Griffin 16U)
Robinson displayed what he is best at. Long and rangy small forward who can let it fly from three. That is exactly what he did in the games we saw as he stretches the floor about as well as anyone in the 2021 class. Defensively he can guard the 2-4 spots.
