[player_tooltip player_id="569913" first="Earl" last="Burgess"]Earl Burgess Earl Burgess 6'7" | PF Dorman | 2021 State SC – Dorman HS – Big Shots Elite South Carolina 2021
Burgess was solid all week long for his squad. Burgess will now join Upward Stars Upstate White for the NCAA Live Period and Head Coach David Bentley. Burgess recently picked up a scholarship offer from USC-Upstate. Burgess finished with both hands in the paint today and never shied away from contact. Burgess 6’6 did all his work inside the paint and helped Big Shots Elite South Carolina 2021 make it to the NTBA Nationals Championship Game today.
Burgess has a long and rangy frame on him. Burgess was able to run the floor very well and finish in transition.
[player_tooltip player_id="927506" first="Kyle" last="Watkins"]Kyle Watkins Kyle Watkins 6'0" | PG Carolina Forest | 2021 State SC – Carolina Forest HS – Big Shots Elite South Carolina 2021
Watkins 5’10 just brings a consistent effort every day on the floor. Watkins a point guard directed the offense and put his teammates in the right position on several occasions this week. Watkins connected on some open jumpers today. Watkins will look to play football later this month for the Panthers.
Jemarkus Boozer – Berea HS – South Carolina Blazers (pictured on the front)
Boozer 6’3 was the primary ball-handler for the most part this week for the South Carolina Blazers. Boozer has a slender-sleek frame to him. Boozer got to the basket a lot and finished at the rim. Boozer at times tries to do to much and gets a bit selfish. Boozer was very active in the passing lanes. Boozer helped the South Carolina Blazers get to the NTBA Championship before falling .
Kimani KnoxKimani Knox – North Myrtle Beach HS – Manzer
Knox is a virtual unknown to everyone outside the Grand Strand area. Knox is a thick undersized post player who can really draw contact well in the paint. Knox finishes around the basket and has a decent touch from the foul line. My favorite thing about Knox is he wears #99 o nthe floor.
[player_tooltip player_id="747012" first="Tre" last="Gasque"]Tre Gasque Tre Gasque 6'3" | PG Andrews | 2022 State NC – Andrews HS – SC Coastal Elite
Gasque 6’2 helped his team all week long with his play. Prep Hoops saw Gasque on the opening day where they lost to the Dunn Wildcats. SC Coastal Elite after that rattled off some good wins behind Gasque. Gasque is a rangy guard who really likes the ball in his hands. Gasque looks to be headed to Marion HS this fall according to close sources to the situation. Gasque generally runs with Team Wall Southeast 2021 on the Grassroots Circuit.
