Holman was another really impressive prospect, and it is easy to see why he is such a highly sought after recruit. He is long, with a college ready body. He has a super quick first step, and was able to beat guys off the dribble all day long. He attacked the rim well, and if the defense closed out short, he proved that he is a more than capable shooter from distance.
Nathaniel Goodlow 6’3 PG Del City HS (OK) Team Griffin
Goodlow was definitely the most impressive prospect that I saw at the Mullen’s Tournament. He is a super fast lead guard, and when he was going downhill there wasn’t anyone capable of stopping him. He looked best in transition, and was a blur up and down the court. It felt like he was all over the court.
Gary Jones 6’10 PF Sickles HS (FL) Q6 All Stars Elite
Jones is a new age big, in that he was a capable rim protector and rebounder, and was also able to step outside and knock down a handful of 3s. He has a good body, and a year in a college weight program would be really good for him. He is also a high academic kid, so that should help him out when it comes to college recruiting.
Walzel Evans 5’11 PG JC Harmon HS (KS) Team YOBO
Evans is a quick lead guard that was really difficult to stay in front of. He does an excellent job at creating separation in one on one situations. He also showed off a really impressive ability to finish around the rim and had a couple really impressive and-one’s.
Jace Lance 6’1 CG Marshall HS (MO) Team YOBO
Lance was an under the radar difference maker for Team YOBO, that made winning plays consistently. He hustled all over the floor, and was diving all over the floor for loose balls. He played with a high IQ on both sides of the ball, and was a surprisingly capable defender.
Joziah Ramos 5’10 PG Atrisco Heritage Academy (NM) PB Nation-New Mexico
Ramos was a really intriguing prospect that made some big highlight plays. He is a really good shooter from deep, and showed that he is just as capable of a shooter off the bounce as he is off the catch. He also has a super quick release that the defense struggled with affecting. He is a crafty finisher around the rim, and didn’t struggle finishing over bigger and more athletic opponents nearly as much as you would imagine.
