Isaiah Carr 2022 New Mexico D1 Ambassadors forward
Isaiah Carr is a very interesting young recruit with a lot of upside. The post player stands at 6-foot-9-inches and does everything you want from your inside presence. He has long arms and defends the rim, keeping easy shots contested and forcing opposing teams to test their strength on the perimeter. He is also a rebound machine, and he can be a legitimate double-double-type of athlete on a night-in, night-out basis.
Gunnar Gordon 2022 Oklahoma Run PWP point guard
Gunnar Gordon was one of the most intriguing prospects at the point guard position that I saw all weekend. He has an exceptional skill-set for his age. He shoots the 3-pointer well, passes the ball well, runs in transition and even rebounds well, despite being one of the smaller athletes on the floor. He will be an Oklahoma prospect to watch for years to come.
Cain Smith 2022 Oklahoma Run PWP wing
Cain Smith had an outstanding performance in this game, leading PWP in scoring and playing well all over the offensive end of the floor. Smith can rack up scoring on the drive or the outside shot. He also passes the ball well and can set up his teammates to score. His ball-handling allows him to excel in creating shots for himself as well as others.
Sean Johnson 2022 New Mexico D1 Ambassadors forward (pictured above)
Sean Johnson is an exciting, talented forward who has a high ceiling for success. In his game against PWP, he guarded the one-through-five,, brought the ball up the floor, swung to the wing, scored the ball from the post, passed well and protected the rim. Johnson will have the opportunity to be one of the most intriguing prospects in New Mexico for years to come.
