Our Stockriser of the Year as you already know is 2020 Guard Josh Hall. Hall has blown up and become a top 25 prospect, he’s picked up offers from top programs in the country and is still rising. At a legit 6’9 with a high skillset, it doesn’t take long to see why so many HM programs are becoming fans of his game, more importantly than being an outstanding player, he’s a high character young man.
The highest Stockriser that wasn’t on a sneaker circuit has to go Big Shots Forward Nick Farrar. Nick showed that regardless of where you play, if you put up the performances, the recruitment will take care of itself. He’s gone from Low Major to High Major offers and still seems to be climbing the ranks and target list of programs.
Team Wall & Village Christian Guard Zavian Mclean saw his stock rise toward the end of the month with multiple D1 offers after he already held a good amount of D2 offers. Mclean has one of the highest motors that you will see and is also one of the better scorers around, you have to love what he can bring to the table on both ends of the floor.
Team Trezz & Southwest Edgecombe Guard Keishon Porter stock has been on the rise with the latest offer coming from Texas A&M. Porter is a high flying guard that can score it from multiple areas on the court and plays the game with a toughness that you have to love.
Westover HS Forward Traymond Willis-Shaw: The majority of the offers that he picked up came in June after his performances during the high school team live periods. UNCG and Radford are programs that got the chance to see what he brings to the table, he has the height, wingspan, ability to stretch the floor and athleticism to play at the next level.
West Brunswick HS Guard/Forward Jadyn Parker: At 6’8 we love the fact that his high school coach didn’t stick him in the post just because he was tall but instead allowed him to play some wing and guard to help his all-around game. Well it’s paid off not only in his development as a player but also as a prospect as he picked up some D1 offers and interest during the July period.
High Point Central & New Light Disciples Forward Kuluel Mading: Another prospect that has the versatility at his height that you have to be impressed with. You would think he’s automatically a post guy but the more you watch him, you can see that he has the ability to play on the wing due to his overall skillset. He picked up a high amount of interest and some offers, if he continues to play at a high level, he should have a nice amount of schools to pick from whenever he commits.
