Now it’s time to take a look back at what we learned during what has been an interesting month for recruiting. Here is a brief rundown of five local 2022 prospects who boosted their stock this month.
BROCK DAVIS | 6’4 F | GEORGETOWN DAY/DC PREMIER
At the DC Jam Fest, Davis continued to prove himself as a workhorse who plays with toughness. He plays much bigger than his listed height and is a flat-out mammoth on the boards. Davis should be in line for a productive sophomore campaign.
LOU HUTCHINSON | 6’5 G | EPISCOPAL/TEAM DURANT
Hutchinson closed out his month by averaging close to 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists per game during Session 1 of the NCAA College Basketball Academy at UConn. He is still growing into his body and his strong work ethic in conjunction with his impressive feel for the game indicates that he will have a bright future.
PAUL LEWIS | 6’1 G | BISHOP O’CONNELL/DC PREMIER
Lewis really helped himself with a series of standout performances at the DC JamFest earlier this month. He’s a dynamic talent who clearly has major confidence in his abilities.
CAVAN REILLY | 6’3 G | MIDDLEBURG ACADEMY/DC PREMIER
Reilly is a talented shot maker who competes on the defensive end, and we saw this in full effect at the DC JamFest. He looks ready to knock down a ton of threes at a high rate during the upcoming season.
TREY THOMAS | 6’2 G | WISE/TEAM LOADED DC
Thomas finished up his month with a strong run of play down at the VA Wesleyan Team Camp. He should be in line for a huge season at Wise as he will be considered one of the top sophomores in PG County next season.
