Sam Thompson 6’9″ Francis Howell: One of the top prospects in the team camp, the versatile power forward showcased his skill set from the low post to beyond the 3-point line. He was running the court well as he got out in transition with the small guys and got a few layups and dunks. His shooting touch in the post is excellent and his 3-point shot has started to emerge. He is starting to receive interest from several mid-major Division I schools.
Aaron Hendricks 6’6″ MICDS: The improving young post player continues to come into his own over the summer as he gets physically stronger and more able to take the pounding in the low post. The long lefty displayed his rebounding and shot blocking skills while showing his continued improvement on the offensive end. He has a nice turnaround jumper in the lane and can explode in the paint for a dunk in traffic on occasion.
Jack Pronger 6’6″ MICDS: The young Stretch 4 knocked down some 3-pointers from long distance during the camp. The pick-and-pop really agrees with him as he can stretch the defense. He is a very good offensive rebounder where he can use his length and activity. He has also improved on his one-dribble move to get to the mid-range area.
Lance Hackney 6’6″ Lutheran-St. Charles: The robust post player put in a lot of work in the paint, especially when it comes to rebounding. He uses his size to get good position and he can go and get the ball with strength and force. I like how he can score in the post with both hands.
Connor Bekebrede 6’6″ Fort Zumwalt South: A solid post player who is poised to have a bigger role in the team’s offense in the upcoming season. He already does a lot of things well, such as rebounding, setting good screens and playing post defense. He is physically strong and he has good fundamentals around the basket.
