DJ Freeman 2021 H&H Elite/Casady wing-forward (pictured above)
DJ Freeman was outstanding in the second half for H&H Elite’s Saturday morning victory. Freeman was a scoring mogul against the opposing defense, netting dunks, hitting mid-range jump-shots and take defenders to the hole from the dribble Freeman has elite explosive energy and can accelerate out of a stationary position to almost full-steam in a dribble or two, allowing him to blow by defenders from the wing and corner positions to elevate to the hole. He finished a few impressive dunks and made the morning session his stage.
Sean Pedulla 2021 Team Buddy Buckets/Edmond Memorial point guard
Sean Pedulla shot the ball with elite precision from the catch and off-the-dribble Saturday morning. The athletic, crafty point guard ran the floor for the length of the game, taking advantage of defenders on the fast-break with elite passing and scoring. Pedulla also rebounded the ball exceptionally well and was the founder of most of his team’s transition plays. Pedulla must have been well-rested from his first-round bye, indicative in his sharpness in creating plays quickly.
Quinten Harrison 2020 H&H Elite/Westmoore guard
Quinten Harrison’s knack for passing was on full-display in a Saturday morning win for H&H Elite. On one occasion, Harrison recorded a trio of assists on consecutive possessions, making the opposing defense look foolish. Harrison’s ability to distribute the ball down-floor and cross-court in movement requires diligence, practice and outstanding vision; all qualities that Harrison prides himself in. He seamlessly flicks the ball out before defenders could even think about him moving the ball.
