Brandon Love 6’7 • PF • 2021 • Ft Bend Bush HS / Houston Raptors 16U
Brandon game has taken a big-time jump from the early spring until now. He had been playing up on the 17U level all spring long and plays on the 17U level for the Prep Hoops Circuit. As he went to play his own grade for the LIVE period you could truly see the growth. He was dunking out of the post on opponents. He is more physical on the court and finishing +1 Buckets. Has a decent handle for his size with good speed. Can take guys from the wing and short corner as well. Coaches were intrigued and asking questions about him.
Reece Peel 6’3 SG • 2020 • College Station A&M Consolidation HS / Team Evolution (as seen in the picture)
Reece is a streaky shooter from deep with a nice thick frame. Has a good motor and is consistent in the mid-range game. He also finishes well on contested layups. His game has grown from a play initiators perspective as he has had to run the show for his Grassroots team. A solid prospect that could be beneficial at the next level.
Marc Batts 6’7 PF • 2020 • Houston Yates HS / Team Evolution
This is one of the most improved prospects of the entire season. Went from a guy who could barely walk and chew gum, to a guy rim running the entire game. Physical post that has a nice 15-foot range game. He looks to put opponents in the rim every time and has the strength to do so. He is tenacious on the glass and will challenge opponents shots at the rim.
Lewis Hughes 6’0 PG • 2019 • Pasadena Dobie HS / TSK Elite
This point was the bounciest Guard in the entire building all weekend long. He is also one of the fastest guards I’ve seen all year long. Every game he averaged 3 dunks, not just a rim grazing dunk but windmills and between the legs dunks. He shoots the ball well from deep and plays good on-ball defense.
Kristopher O’Neal II 6’0 PG • 2020 • Fort Bend Hightower HS / Top Notch
When he gets cooking he’s hard to stop. This was my second tournament seeing this prospect play and his game is consistent. He is a shooter that is undersized. He plays the point and has a good handle on the ball. He is a deep ball threat. His deep ball opens up the rest of his game.
