Top Guards
Isael Silva, 2021, Jesuit
Silva is easily the best passer in his class out West and perhaps the best passer regardless of class in the region. At 6-feet-4, he possesses which allowed him to see over most of the competition in front of him. The rising junior has unmatched feel, vision and anticipation with the ball in his hands and his ability to see the game steps ahead of his opponents makes it difficult for them to keep up. One of the things that jumped off the page with Silva in this camp was his improved 3-point shooting off the catch.
Dalen Terry, 2020, Hillcrest Prep (AZ)
The Phoenix-based Terry, like his Compton Magic-mate Silva, has immense size and length for lead guard position he’s most comfortable playing. The 6-foot-7 rising senior is another guy who uses his high basketball IQ and vision to dominate a game without scoring, but Terry can also do his fair share of scoring damage in transition.

Nunn was a tough cover all weekend long because of his combination of size, strength and length to go along with his ball skills and fluid athleticism. The 6-foot-2 combo guard had defenders bouncing off of him on drives and finishes in the paint, but he also showed some step-back and mid-range shooting ability, as well.
Keith Dinwiddie, 2020, Fairfax
There are few better pure scorers in SoCal than the 6-foot-2 Dinwiddie. The rising senior lights up the nets in every way imaginable, but jump shooting – from the 3-point and mid-range levels – are his bread and butter. Dinwiddie gets great lift on his shot, whether it’s off the bounce or off the catch, and can get it off without much time or space needed.
Jaden Byers, 2021, Rancho Christian
Byers might come in a small, sub-six-foot package, but his poster dunk on Saturday made defenders think twice about challenging him at the rim. The camp-style atmosphere fed well into Byers’ strengths as he was able to get out in transition and finish in the paint and use his speed and quick hands to wreak havoc on the defensive end.
