These are the players that I think everyone should be watching very closely, going into the next live event! Live Period Dates: July 11th-14th/July 23rd-28th
Dre Henry 6’7 2020 F (PHH Prep/PHH Rise)
Dre Henry has been looking very good and very athletic. He has really improved his all around athleticism and versatility. He roams the floor effortlessly and jumps a lot higher than you would think. Henry’s recruitment has started to pick up recently and I only expect bigger and better things for this quickly improving big.
Andre Harris 6’7 2020 F (Hillcrest Prep/Compton Magic)
Harris has seen a big boom in his recruitment and it is well earned. He has seen a lot more exposure since transferring to Hillcrest Prep and now playing AAU ball for Compton Magic. I imagine this recruitment train will keep on rolling and he’ll snag a couple more mid-low offers by the end of the summer.
Osasere Ighodaro 6’10 2020 F (Desert Vista/PHH Rise)
Osasere might be the hottest prospect on the west coast this summer. He has seen a drastic jump in his recruitment and he has coaches very excited. Osasere is getting a lot of major major looks due to his overall versatility and athleticism. He can affect the game in so many ways and looks like he still has room to grow and get better.
Logan Phillips 6’7 2020 F (Valley Christian/PHH Rise)
I really like Phillips, I think he’s one of the more underrated players in AZ. It is said that he has grown another inch, so he very well may be standing at 6’8 as of now and has guard like skills. Phillips is also super long and very athletic. He can rise up quickly and poster someone. To the best of my knowledge, Phillips only has one offer as of right now. I believe that will increase this month.
Fallou Diagne 6’11 2020 F (AZ Compass/Oakland Soldiers)
I had recently seen Fallou play in person for the very first time. I had always heard of him but never got a chance to see him play. He definitely did not disappoint and I can see a lot of potential in his game. He has recently transferred to AZ Compass Prep, in hopes of gaining more exposure. I think he is someone that all D1’s should pay very close attention to.
