Whether it was a Point Guard running the show for his team, or a forward trying to do their best Dennis Rodman impersonation by pulling down every single rebound.
Fayetteville Flash 2021 Demetrius Polk: He will be a player that his high school team will look to this upcoming season to have a big season and he showed some flashes of what he could be on both sides of the ball. Offensively he excels at making plays off the dribble, creating some contact and either finishing plays or drawing fouls. On the defensive end he also likes to you his physicality to make things difficult for the offensive opponent and doesn’t back down from a challenge.
Fayetteville Flash 2021 Guard Kaylon Keys: One of the better showings that we have seen from him as he knocked down a high amount of three point shots throughout the event. We already know that he can get after it well on the defensive side so to see his offense coming around is a positive for him.
Fayetteville Academy 2022 Truman Claytor: Another new addition to the FA Eagles he brings some toughness, scoring and versatility to a team that has lost quite a bit from last year. We liked how well he played within the flow of the team offense, even though he is a new addition, he looked comfortable and made an impact in multiple ways besides just scoring.
DSJ Elite 2021 PG Kelton Battle: He clearly is spending time in the weight room as he has added some more muscle to his upper body which allows him to play through a higher level of physical contact on the court. He ran the show for his team pretty well, scoring when called up but for the most part he took on the role of being a facilitator.
Fayetteville Flash 2021 Guard Darius Jewell: His shot wasn’t falling for him early on but he kept on letting it fly and eventually he would see some drop for him. The fact that he is already know as a three point specialist, makes him a player that defenses pay attention to regardless if his shot is on or off.
LBA Thunder 2024 Forward AJ Jones: For a player to be such a young age, we were impressed with how hard he plays and his willingness to do the dirty work for his team. You could tell he wasn’t overly concerned with the point he was scoring but instead dominated the game with his rebounding and blocking shots.
