The 4th of July is obviously known for fireworks. Looking up in the sky, you can see the bright lights. Throughout the night, you can hear the crackling and exploding fireworks. It's an exciting holiday that brings 'oohs and ahs' from onlookers. High school basketball in Michigan has players that can create the same excitement as the fireworks on 4th of July. These athletes put on a show and pack gyms with fans waiting for them to explode.

Emoni Bates (2022, F, Ypsilanti - Lincoln)

Lets be real, he's the best prospect in the country regardless of class. Bates has turned into a teenage legend. He can do it all:  Shoot, rebound, defend, and finish with flare.

Ty Rodgers (2022, SF, Grand Blanc)

Rodgers is an elite talent on a national scale. He fills gyms with fans waiting to see him go off. Rodgers is one of the best pure athletes in Michigan.

Brody Parker (2021, G, Troy)

Parker is like the firework that shoots up quietly, then all of a sudden lights up the sky. He can shoot and create, often times putting an opponent away before they even know it.

Trip Riemersma (2021, SG, Zeeland East)
