JOSH ABTEW | 6’0 G | NOVA CAVS/FAIRFAX ’20
Abtew brought consistent shot-making and toughness to the Nova Cavs backcourt. He was active and alert in help defense, took several charges, and rebounded well in his area.
BARRY EVANS | 6’4 SF | CECIL KIRK/OAKLAND MILLS ’21
Evans has an intriguing physical profile and a sneaky good skill set. The southpaw definitely has to add some strength but his upside is promising.
WILL MARGARITES | 6’0 G | DISTRICT BC/WOOTTON ’21
Margarites did not start games, but was often asked to close them because of his ability to handle the ball and make smart decisions. He shot it well this weekend and is becoming more consistent in that department.
DANIEL MBANGUE | 6’4 SF | NOVA CAVS/FAIRFAX ’20
Mbangue did a little bit of everything for the 17U Elite Champs. He is perhaps the best ball-handler on the team but also uses his size well around the basket.
THOMAS WHITLEY | 6’6 F | DISTRICT BC/ELEANOR ROOSEVELT ’21
Whitley is developing into a nice all-around forward. He can pick-and-pop but one thing that really stood out was his passing ability. Whitley has good court vision and gets the ball to his teammates in easy scoring positions.
