Darwin Randolph @PrepHoopsTN Summer Combine Recapture

Wonderful performance by Darwin. Randolph earned Co-MVP with Grant Hurst.
Randolph needs to extend his shooting range. Though he hit a handful of three-pointers, he can add so much to his game with more efficiency beyond the line. Randolph’s feet are very good. He possesses extremely powerful legs that guide him into threatening gaps. Randolph likes to carve up defenses with the dribble. The dribbling acumen is excellent. Randolph plays with a mixture of playground creativity and school ball sensibility.
Defense proved to be a foundation to Darwin’s game. In addition to his wonderful offensive impact, Darwin slid his feet and bodied guards with the best of them. Consider Randolph a plus guard defender for Class AAA and potentially a lockdown college defender.
The junior-to-be is a lead-by-example player. He inspires teammates to invest more energy and like all good guards he refuses to let his teammates coast. Wins will be common in his future.
