His announcement comes to a shock for some people. That was the general vibe I got from the gym when he announced his decision. Many people didn’t think that he would commit this early, having another year of high school ball.
Last season, Terry averaged 16 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals per game for Hillcrest Prep.
Terry had some other big time offers, including GCU, Utah, Cal, USC, UNLV, ASU, Nevada, Marquette, Memphis, Arkansas, Florida, Colorado, Vanderbilt, and Illinois.
In the video, Terry said,”This is where I’m from and this is where I’ll stay”. Very cool to see an AZ kid stay home. Arizona snags themselves another big time Arizona prospect. The team will be very interesting with Nico Mannion and Dalen Terry sharing the court together in the near future.
The University of Arizona continues their hot steaks of recruiting top talent as their 2019 class is one of the best in the country and snagging Terry is surely going to jump start their 2020 recruiting class. Will UofA be able to land another top AZ talent in the 2020 class?
