DSJ Elite 2020 Guard Dylan Blake: He’s known for his ability to shoot the three point shot as he is one of the better shooters in the state, but had somewhat of an off shooting day. Regardless of the off shooting day, he didn’t allow that to take him out of the game as he was impressive with how well he crashed the boards on both ends, providing some extra possessions for his team.
Team Wall 2020 Guard Zavian Mclean: A downhill guard that is tough to defend when he comes at you with a full head of steam. He’s an impressive player on the offensive end of the court but what’s even more impressive is how much effort he gives on the defensive end as well. He doesn’t take plays off and bring the energy and enthusiasm that you love to have from a teammate. Picked up some more scholarship offers this weekend and is one that Ivy League level programs should be giving a call to.
Team Wall 2020 Guard Chase Forte: The high flying PG is continuing to prove why he is a prospect that college coaches should be reaching out to. He can make plays above the rim, as well as knocking down the deep ball, he competes at a high level on both ends of the floor.
Carolina Wolves 2020 G/F Jarrian Hancock: Plenty to like about his game and the upside he brings to the table, at about 6’5/6’6 with a long wingspan and some nice versatility you can play him at multiple spots on the floor. We like the fact that he didn’t settle for the outside shot too often, rebounded the ball well and picked his spots when to attack. He’s still figuring some things out but we will be one that college coaches will want to keep a close eye on in July as well as at Lee County this fall.
DSJ Elite 2020 Wing Quandre Bullock: Very impressive showing from this young man, as he finished with 33 points and the game winner at the buzzer in the game we saw. At about 6’5 he is naturally a wing but due to a smaller roster he played inside the post at time and provided plenty of what his team needed.
Carolina Wolves 2020 Guard Jordan Yarrell: 6’4 with the ability to knock down the deep ball at a very high rate is something that you have to like about him. He’s moves well without the ball, doesn’t try to over dribble and plays within the flow of the team offense, solid overall showing.
