Kaden Metheny – 5’10 – BigShots Elite West Virginia – 2020
Kaden Metheny is a big-time scorer, especially from behind the arc, made 30 total 3-pointers during both Myrtle Beach Live sessions, scored 45 points on nine made 3-pointers in an impressive comeback victory against WV Mpact, one of those sleepers in the mid-major ranks
Tim Montgomery – 6’1 – BigShots Elite West Virginia – 2020
Tim Montgomery showed off his abilities in a variety of ways this past weekend. He made eight 3-pointers during the second session including four in a 22-point performance against New Light Disciples. He’s solid at creating off the dribble and deadly off the catch-and-shoot.
Thailand Elder – 6’2 – Dallas Seawolves – 2020
Thailand Elder finished second in 3-pointers made (14) during the first Myrtle Beach Live session and second in scoring average with 24.3 points per contest. He put up 31 points on seven made 3-pointers against BigShots Elite Georgia. Whether it’s off the catch or creating off this dribble, he’s got a ton of skill shooting the ball.
Sterling Hopkins 6’3 – Dallas Seawolves – 2019
Sterling Hopkins was a huge boost for the Dallas Seawolves during the second live session showing off his prowess from behind the arc. He put up 28 points on seven made 3-pointers against the Greensboro Warriors and finished first in made 3’s with 16 total in Session 2. He’s an unsigned senior still available.
Bradley Dean – 6’2 – Team Xplosion – 2020
Bradley Dean is one of the premier sharpshooters in the state of Virginia and he showed that off during Myrtle Beach Live. He made a total of 25 3-pointers between both live sessions. Dean put up a personal-best 37 points on five made 3-pointers against WV Mpact. He’s another mid-major sleeper prospect.
Jamison Long – 5’11 – Flight 22 – 2020
Jamison Long finished in the Top 5 of the 17U Slam division with 12 made 3-pointers during the second live session. He put up 21 points with six made 3-pointers in a big win against the Dallas Seawolves to close out the weekend. He showed he’s comfortable shooting it from behind the arc this past weekend and is a prospect deserving of some looks from college coaches.
Zach Murphy – 6’4 – Greensboro Warriors – 2020
Zach Murphy opened Myrtle Beach Live 2 with 19 points on five made 3-pointers. he made a total of 11 3-pointers across four games for the Greensboro Warriors. Murphy has nice size on the wing at 6-foot-4 and holds his own on the defensive end as well.
Demitri Gardner – 6’5 – Virginia Blaze – 2021
Demitri Gardner showed off his ability as a sharpshooter for the Virginia Blaze. He made 13 3-pointers while playing up an age group across both live sessions. He put up 25 points on five made 3-pointers against WV Mpact (Williamson) in his best game of the weekend. He’s got length and strength on the wing.
