Nolan Dorsey – 6’6 – BigShots Elite North Carolina – 2020
Nolan Dorsey was quite the playmaker for BigShots Elite North Carolina, doing a whole lot more than scoring with the ball in his hands. He’s shifty off the bounce and with his size at 6-foot-6, he’s a matchup nightmare. He did well to get the ball to his teammates at the right time all weekend. Dorsey is one prospect who should see his stock rise as the year goes on one of the top teams in the state and currently holds nine Division I offers.
Benjamin Raspberry – 6’3 – BigShots Elite Georgia – 2020
Benjamin Raspberry plays a lot bigger than his listed size at 6-foot-3 and is constantly looking to make the extra pass. He’s prone to get the rebound from much bigger players and create for his teammates in transition as he did on numerous occasions. He plays his role well as a facilitator and plays unselfish basketball.
Roman Son – 6’0 – BigShots Elite Georgia – 2020
Roman Son is another player that plays big despite being listed at just 6-foot. He’s a prospect that should garner some attention from D2 and D3 programs. He can score it, but is always looking to make the extra pass and feed his horses in Brandon Stroud, Kirshon Thrash and Chris Youngblood.
Jamarii Thomas – 6’1 – New Light Disciples – 2021
Jamarii Thomas is a pure point guard that thinks to pass first and score second. He’s coming off an ACL injury but that hasn’t slowed him down at all on his quest to get back to 100 percent. When he reaches full strength, teams will really need to worry about his ability to make wild passes look easy. He was a solid setup man for Trent McIntyre and Kuluel Mading during the second session.
Hamilton Campbell – 6’1 – Team Xplosion – 2021
Hamilton Campbell is quite the playmaker with the ball in his hands. He’s got a ton of weapons at his disposal with Greyson Honaker, Brandon Brown, and Cade Looney and does well to keep them all involved.
Chase Hakerem – 5’8 – WCBA – 2021
Chase Hakerem is a shifty point guard that makes things happens. He makes sharp passes and is a prospect that’s hard to keep in front of him. He can knock down shots and create plays for himself and is well beyond his years. He’s another D2 and D3 prospect that college programs should get eyes on.
Gavin Gillikin – 5’11 – Team Wall Big East – 2021
Gavin Gillikin is a sharpshooter but he’s also got a high IQ and a knack for making plays for others like his workhorse, Bennie Brooks. He’s a heady player that plays tough and in their last game, the team ran a Box-and-1 and they still managed to win 72-45 with only five players.
Zee McCown – 5’8 – Quinn Anvils – 2024
Zee McCown is one of the youngsters on the list but he’s a star in the making. He’s certainly a sharpshooter that made 16 3-pointers during Session 2 but he’s also quite the point guard in the pick-and-roll. In the pick-and-roll game, he made quite the reads with his big man Keith Robinson and was a load to defend against. Keep an eye on this kid.
