6’6 Forward/Wing, Redrick Hill, East Coast United, 2020
Redrick Hill was one of the versatile standouts for his ability to shoot it from behind the arc. He showed off his ability to knock down 3-pointers by leading the 17U division in 3-pointers made (14). Hill went out with a bang in the Gold title game, making five 3-pointers and earning co-MVP honors.
6’1 Guard, Phillip Martin Jr., Flight 22 UA Rise, 2020
Phillip Martin Jr. is quite the sharpshooter when given the opportunity. Martin made seven 3-pointers to open bracket play against Team Trezz 16U. He led the team in scoring in a 97-79 victory. Martin finished with a total of 10 made 3-pointers on the weekend including his big game to close out the night.
5’11 Guard, Keenan Saunders. Carolina Dream Team, 2021
Keenan Saunders finished fourth in the division in 3-pointers made on the weekend as his team’s primary sharpshooter. Saunders made eight 3-pointers across two games for the Carolina Dream Team this past weekend. He made five of them against Team Wall SE Select 2021/22 to finish with 17 points.
6’2 Guard, Miguel Miller, Cape Fear Warriors, 2022
Miguel Miller showed off his ability to shoot it from deep with the Cape Fear Warriors. He made three in a 68-65 win over Team Felton UAA 2023 and two against Rock Nation Impact to go along with 12 points.
Miller is another prospect that led the division in 3-point field goals made. He knocked down a total of nine shots from behind the arc to lead the 15U division.
6’4 Guard/Wing, Collin Tanner, Team Hicks, 2022
Collin Tanner is a member of the 2022 class and played up with Team Hicks on the 16U circuit. He made a total of six 3-pointers on the weekend, showing off his versatility on the wing.
Tanner finished fifth in the 16U division in 3-pointers made while also showing off his ability to get to the rim and rebound.
5’11 Ethan Jones, Cape Fear Warriors, 2023
Ethan Jones showed off quite the stroke from 3-point land during pool play for the Cape Fear Warriors. He knocked down six 3-pointers and finished with 20 points against a formidable Team Hicks squad. His emergence this upcoming high school season will be interesting to watch in the Wilmington area.
