5’11 Gabe Proctor, BigShots Elite North Carolina
Gabe Proctor had quite the weekend for BigShots Elite Carolina, averaging 14.3 points per game and leading the division in 3-pointers made with 13. He’s quite the sharpshooter in the class of 2022 and is emerging as an unstoppable force on the wing.
6’6 Aiden Goins, Team Felton-Walden
Aiden Goins showed off his ability to play both inside and outside for Team Felton at BigShots Carolina Slam. He’s got a nice touch on his jumper and did well on the boards to get easy buckets and to the free-throw line. He exploded for 22 points in Game 2 of the weekend, making eight free throws. With his size and ability, he’ll be a prospect to keep an eye on in the 2022 class.
6’9 Pat Wessler, CC Elite 2021/22
Pat Wessler is only in the 2022 class but he played tough on the 17U circuit in Rock Hill this past weekend. He’s got a solid post game and uses his size well to rebound and get buckets. As he learns to play with a motor and improve his conditioning, the sky is the limit for him.
6’1 Aaron Hough, CC Elite
Aaron Hough is listed at just 6-foot-1 but he plays big with his ability to knock down 3’s and get to the rim. He’s always underrated as a facilitator. On numerous occasions, he fed off Isiah Williams and Kyle Frazier to fill the void as CC Elite took home the 15U division title.
5’11 A.J. Cook, CC Elite
A.J. Cook really asserted himself as the floor general for CC Elite . He didn’t try to overdo things in their final game of the weekend, making three 3-pointers and dishing the ball to his shooters on the wing. He’s an emerging true point guard with a high IQ for making plays.
6’0 Marcus Magness, Team United EYBL
Marcus Magness is a floor general that showed off quite the prowess at the point guard position. He can score as well as distribute given the weapons around him. He averaged 9.5 points per game and showed a knack for knocking down the 3-ball. As he develops at his position, he’ll be one to watch in this class.
6’1 Anthony Breland, Team United EYBL
Anthony Breland is a scoring guard with quite the green light with the ball in his hands. He averaged 14.0 points per game, finished fifth in 3-pointers made with six and was at the top of the division in free throws made as well with 14. Breland will be fun to watch this season at Lincoln Academy.
6’4 Wesley Tubbs Jr., Team United EYBL
Wesley Tubbs Jr. is a solid prospect to keep an eye on the wing. He showed off a knack for getting to the rim and creating his own shot for Team United during the weekend. As he learns to use his length on the boards and on the interior, look for his stock to grow.
6’3 Mikhail Pocknett, Team Felton-RDU
Mikhail Pocknett is a big wing at 6-foot-3 and didn’t hesitate to establish himself in the paint as he’s done in the past. He showed off his ability to get to the rim and free throw line during BigShots Carolina Slam. He’ll be a prospect to keep an eye on as his development grows.
6’10 Brandon White, Team Felton-RDU
Brandon White is an emerging big man that stands out with his sheer size at 6-foot-10. He’s a solid rebounder on both ends already. As he learns to play in the paint and around the rim, he’s one big man prospect that should see his star power grow.
2023, 5’11 Alik Lewis, Team Felton-Walden
Alik Lewis is a 2023 prospect but he showed he belongs as a lead by example type for Team Felton-Walden. He can create off the dribble and get others in the right position for buckets. He produced 14.7 points per game, showing off his ability to score on all three levels. He finished fourth in the division with seven 3-pointers made.
