MVP: 6’1 Jazian Gortman, Palmetto City Hurricanes
Jazian Gortman led the division in scoring, showing off his ability to score on all three levels. He averaged 21.3 points per contest, putting up 30 points along with five made 3-pointers in their opening upset of BigShots Elite NC 2022. Gortman is an emerging top guard in the 2022 class with offers already from East Tennessee State and Miles College. His development will be something to keep an eye on.
6’4 Isiah Williams, CC Elite
CC Elite was one of the surprises of the 15U division, defeating Team United EYBL in the championship game and a lot of it had to do with the play of forward Isiah Williams. Williams showed poise on the boards and in the paint all weekend long, averaging 10.7 points per game including the game-winning tip-in in sudden death overtime. He’s one prospect to keep an eye on in the 2022 class.
6’5 Noah Ross, BigShots Elite North Carolina
Noah Ross is an emerging scorer on the wing that produced 15.8 points per game for BigShots Elite North Carolina. He finished second in the division with nine made 3-pointers. In their final game, he put up 19 points with five made 3-pointers. As he learns to shoot with consistency, his stock should rise in his class.
6’2 Kyle Frazier, CC Elite
Kyle Frazier showed off his ability to score on all three levels all weekend. He averaged 12.3 points per game He made a total of five 3-pointers and showed off his ability to get to the rim all weekend and put up 19 points in the team’s title victory over Team United. He’s another prospect on the wing to keep an eye on in the coming years.
6’3 Daniel Sanford, Team United EYBL
Daniel Sanford will be a name to watch for Team United in the coming seasons. He’s a big guard that’s just getting started on the hardwood. He’s an emerging slasher that isn’t afraid to get to the rim and draw contact for fouls. As he learns to get create off the dribble, he’ll be a highlight-reel in no time.
6’2 Athan Gill, Team Felton-Walden
Athan Gill is already a walking highlight-reel that plays above the rim and gets to the free-throw line. He pulled off an impressive poster dunk in his team’s opening game of the weekend. He put up 16.7 points per game on the weekend including 23 points against BigShots North Carolina, making numerous buckets inside the arc. He’s a prospect that college coaches will soon be calling on for his services.
