Big Shots Elite NC Guard Jay Hickman: A knock down shooter that is efficient with the touches he gets, he’s one that D2 programs should keep an eye on as we have seen him fill it up shooting wise on a regular basis. At about 6’3 with a long wingspan he can impact the game on both ends of the floor and we even saw him slide over and play some PG during the high school season.
River City Reign PG Tyler Henderson: Small in height but his speed makes up for it as he is able to push the ball up the floor quickly before defenses can get set up. He also showed the ability to knock down the three point shot at a decent rate and did a nice job of defending his man without fouling.
Greensboro Warriors Guard Zach Murphy: He really had it going in the matchup that we got the chance to see. His efficiency was impressive as he knocked down a high amount of treys on the day. We saw him in spurts last season at Grace but look forward to a big Time senior season from him.
River City Reign Guard Jeremiah Langley: Is more of a slasher type of player, he got to into the gaps of the defense to make plays for himself and others. One of the more impressive attributes about him was his ability to finish in traffic as well as finishing through contact.
Team Xplosion Guard Jordan Mcloyd: Has a smooth game, he’s the type of PG that can run the show and get his squad into their sets. We didn’t see him score the ball a ton but he really didn’t look to score very often, if you’re looking for a late pickup at the PG position that can facilitate, then he is one you will want to reach out to.
Team Xplosion Guard Bradley Dean: He was absolutely on fire in their matchup with Flight 22, he finished with 25 points and didn’t waste much time before getting going offensively. We like that confidence that he shoots the ball with from three point land and he doesn’t seem to second guess himself too often when it comes to shooting.
Greensboro Warriors Guard Qualeem Poindexter: We like that the fact that he doesn’t seem to settle but instead looks for opportunities to attack defenses forcing them to collapse. A two way play that brings the same amount of effort on both ends of the floor, he’s one that you have to like.
