Battle in Atlanta Showcase: Top 3 Players
The Battle in Atlanta Showcase hosted by KB Sports was full of talented ball players. Many of the players were underrated. However, they can compete with anyone that steps on the court. Their skills, passion and knowledge of the game proved why they should be on the radar. Sean Larson, a recent high school graduate is a 5’11 point guard.Larson can play the shooting guard position just as well. He’s a sharp shooter that shoots with confidence. His game isn’t limited to handling the ball, Larson drives to the basket and can draw the foul. What I enjoyed most about his game was his ability to get others involved. He’s a team player that thrives off of being a playmaker.
Andre Council, 2020 5’10 point guard that plays the game at a competitive level on both ends of the floor. He has strong leadership skills on the court which allow him to control the tempo of the game. Council doesn’t lose his composure when the game is on the line, instead he steps up and creates plays for his team. His ability to handle the ball and creatively create plays for himself and his teammates separates him from his competitors. Council has good court vision and can see a play before anyone else. He’s a ball handler with great basketball IQ.
River Baha is a 6’1 shooting guard and recent high school graduate. Baha can do it all: handle the ball, shoot and play tough defense. His ball handling skills makes it easy for him to play the point guard position. Baha is a fun player to watch. The game comes natural to him and he plays with the perfect balance of fundamentals and flash. He attacks the rim aggressively, creates his own shot and moves well without the ball. Baha is a dynamic player with a unique playing style. He scores effortlessly and he’s a hard player to defend.
