Continue ReadingBirmingham, Alabama – Georgia’s own Atlanta Celtics have been one of the best grassroots programs nationally throughout the spring and summer. Only losing three games in the Adidas Gauntlet all year, the Celtics have started off with a 4-0 overall record here at the Adidas Summer Championships and will be looking to win it all by Sunday.
They have been led by Xavier commit 2020 PG Dwon Odom, who is averaging 17.0 points per game through four games. The Celtics have defeated Garner Road (NC), Chaucey Billups Elite (CO), Indiana Elite (IN), and Uneek Ballers (NV) in their route to the round of 16 in the Adidas Summer Championships. Other prospects like 2020 PG Deivon Smith, 2020 G Caleb Murphy, and 2020 SG Toneari Lane have been part of the success as well.
The Celtics will face a very good Upward Stars (SC) tomorrow in the round of 16 and then will face the winner between Exum Elite (UT) and Indiana Elite (IN). It will take the Celtics to win four more games for them to be crowned as champions on Sunday afternoon.
