Josiah Doltzer | PG | OSA Crusaders | 2023
Doltzer is an ultra-quick ball handler that can get by defenders effortlessly and make plays for others. He also plays good on the ball defense and likes to frustrate opposing guards with his lateral quickness and quick hands. The Omaha native was arguably the best point guard at the Indi Hoops World Championships.
John Hubbard | PG | Louisiana Elite | 2023
Hubbard was terrific this weekend for his Louisiana Elite Squad. The incoming freshman made it tough for players to bring the ball up against him because he knows how to sit down on defense and move his feet laterally to beat you to spots. He also did a good job of distributing the rock to his teammates.
Taison Chatman | PG/SG | DTA | 2023
It’s hard to predict sometimes what a kid will be when he’s in middle school. However, I feel pretty confident in predicting that Taison Chatman will be a national name when he enters high school. The big point guard plays the game with skill and smoothness that most players his size can emulate.
Jalen Lewis | PF/C | Beast Up | 2023
Lewis is a very versatile big man that can post you up on the block or face up his defender and attack him off the bounce. Lewis definitely proved that he will be one of the top players in the state of California for the class of 2023
Brandon Rogers | SG | Louisiana Elite | 2023
Rogers is a two guard that has great size for the position and can score the ball on multiple levels. He was impressive all weekend long and showed that he has a chance to be special if he continues to develop.
Fred Payne | CG | Louisiana Elite | 2023
The Louisiana sniper was dialed from deep at Indi Hoops World Championships. Payne has good speed and is a capable ball handler that can play the one or two on offense.
Lincoln Palbicki | PF | DTA Academy | 2023
Palbicki was very good with his back to the basket and displayed some post moves that left me speechless. The Minnesota big man has a soft touch around the rim and can finish over defenders with over the should jump hooks.
Tate Odvody | SG | OSA Crusaders | 2023
Odvody has a really nice feel for the game and knows who he is as a player. He utilizes pump fakes, jab steps and other fundamentals that makes him hard to guard.
Chi Shannon | SG/SF | Norcross Heat | 2023
Shannon is a wiry swingman that can handle the rock and use his slick handle to get in the gaps of the defense and finish around the basket. Shannon has good speed and athleticism but must get stronger to reach his full potential. He definitely has a chance to be one of the top 2023 prospects in Georgia.
Eduardo Hendricks | PF | Norcross Heat | 2023
Hendricks is a good rebounder who likes to use his size and frame to his advantage. He is another talented kid that should make some noise in Georgia high school basketball down the road.
Jayden Nicholson | SG/SF | Team Griffin | 2023
The physical guard is an effortless scorer that just has a knack for putting the ball in the rim. No kid was more impressive than Nicholson was scoring the ball. The future is really bright for this Missouri bucket getter.
David Oyona | C | Team Griffin | 2023
The physical big man David Oyana is a nightmare for opponents because of his size, athleticism and shot blocking ability. He is still progressing offensively but has the tools that convinced that he will be one of the best high school prospects for his class.
Chris Lockett | PG/SG | Houston Hoops Blue Chips | 2023
Lockett is a special talent that is an elite playmaker and a fluid athlete. Lockett is oozing with potential and it’s not hard to figure out why he’s considered as one of the top kids in 2023.
