Brody Peebles- This kid is an extremely gifted scorer. He has a smooth jump shot, a crafty handle, and Peebles is sneaky athletic. Through this year’s AAU season, coaches saw this 6’2 combo guard light up the nets every weekend. What’s impressive is the fact Peebles plays extremely well off the ball and has improved as an overall defender.
Riley Leonard- The 6’4 wing is an impressive athlete. Had not seen him live much, but wow. Leonard can play. He has a well rounded skill set, good positional size, and is one of the best shooters in the state. Leonard is a gifted two sport athlete, but he can be a college prospect in both. The only person that can limit Riley Leonard is Riley Leonard.
Blake Floyd- I thought Floyd would be limited by his lack of athleticism and size, but I was wrong. This point guard plays with poise and knows his role. Seeing him at team camps over the summer gave me the opportunity to see his shooting and scoring ability. Have you ever seen a kid get a double double without scoring a point in an AAU game!?
Bryson Hall- Plain and simple… Hall is a monster. He’s an undersized post, but he is a load. He has solid ball skill and is a strong kid. He has soft hands and can score with his back to the basket or facing up. Im sure coaches would like to see him develop more post moves, but Hall knows how to use his body and sticks to his strengths. Very impressed with his passing and vision out of the post.
Josh Maston- Maston is a solid athlete and can play both on/off the ball. He may not be 6ft, but he plays hard and does a lot of things well. This kid is a very good on ball defender, but he does gamble a little too much for steals. Maston has the ability to really heat up from downtown and has improved his finishing at the rim.
