Being recognized by any service on a national level is an awesome thing. The 2021 class is loaded with potential from top to bottom.
JD Davison (Calhoun)- This kid is a freak athlete. It is unbelievable to see him do what he does. JD is a 6’3 combo guard who can defend multiple positions, play on/off ball, and is a human highlight reel. High Major programs are all over the No. 92 ranked prospect.
Kaleb Brown (Lee Huntsville)- The 6’5 big bodied guard is a very intriguing prospect. PrepHoops has him ranked 110th. Brown is a high IQ playmaker, and he understands how to use his body. He’s not the best athlete, but this kid just knows how to play.
Trinity Bell (Albertville)- The 6’7 power forward comes in at 146. Bell has the makings to be a special player. This kid plays big and physical down low, and is a very good defensive player on/off the ball. Bell has an old school type feel to his game.
GaQuincy McKinstry (Pinson Valley)- The 208th ranked prospect is a two sport stud. Kool-Aid will have a variety of offers in both sports. This kid has all the athleticism in the world, and it shows. Kool-Aid plays above the rim, can score at all 3 levels, and can lock people up.
Bryson Hall (Tuscaloosa Co.)- Hall is ranked 224th. The 6’6-6’7 forward is a load to handle. He displayed the ball skill necessary to be a mismatch down low during the AAU season. Hall is a very good passer and has excellent vision from the post.
Keshawn Murphy (Ramsay)- The small forward is the last nationally ranked prospect at 239. Murphy is pushing closer to 6’8-6’9, and he is a very versatile player. Murphy can play either forward spot, and the kid can guard 2-5. MM-HM level schools are recruiting Murphy.
Brody Peebles (Hartselle)- Peebles put on an offensive clinic this spring/summer. The 6’2 combo guard is one of the state’s best scorers. This kid has improved as a playmaker and overall defender as well. MM level schools have been tracking him all AAU season.
Riley Leonard (Fairhope)- Leonard is a 6’4-6’5 skilled wing. This kid has a very good shooting stroke and can score with the best of them. Leonard is another two sport athlete who will be highly recruited at the next level in either sport. Currently being recruited by LM-MM schools in basketball.
PJ Eason (Dadeville)- The 6’9 forward is a very good rebounder and runs the floor well. Eason displays excellent touch around the basket and has improved as an overall defender. He still needs to develop more post moves/ counter options, but Eason is a kid MM schools should track.
Taye Fields (Lee Huntsville)- Fields is a very athletic 6’3-6’4 combo guard. This kid has improved in every phase of the game over the AAU season. Fields is a good scorer from all 3 levels and has the length on the perimeter to be an impact defender.
