Justin Thomas – 6’6 – Garner Road West
Justin Thomas is a 6-foot-6 wing with athleticism and a developing shot from behind the arc. He can get to the rim with ease and in their final game of the weekend finished with 16 points, including two 3-pointers made. He currently holds offers from Georgia Tech and East Carolina and with a strong July performance, he’s likely to pull more offers.
Wy’kise Allen – 6’4 – Garner Road Thornton
Wy’kise Allen had a strong weekend for Garner Road Thornton as they posted a 2-0 record on the weekend. He opened with 18 points and two made 3-pointers in Game 1 and scored 12 points against Team Wall Elite as one of the team’s lead guards. He’s beginning to show he belongs on the floor with his ability to get to the rim and make things happen.
Jayden Beloti – 6’4 – Garner Road Thornton
Jayden Beloti was the primary defender for Garner Road Thornton and turned many plays into steals and dunks on the other end. Beloti can stroke it from deep and won’t hesitate to get to the rim when needed. He’s a prospect who should garner a lot of attention during the month of July.
Vernon Fraley Jr. – 6’5 – Garner Road Thornton
Vernon Fraley Jr. continues to impress with his rebounding and ability to play inside and out. He’s one forward on this rotation that you don’t want to let get hot. In their victory against Team Wall, he put up 15 points and showed his ability to get to the free throw line as well.
Kaleb Brooks – 6’6 – Garner Road Thornton
Kaleb Brooks is one prospect that showed off his inside-out game on the weekend. He made five 3-pointers and showed his ability to play big when needed. He showed he’s able to play his role no matter what the situation. Brooks is a prospect with next-level ability and should get some looks from college programs.
Jonas Aidoo – 6’11 – NC Red Storm
Jonas Aidoo turned heads with not only his size but his ability on the floor. On defense, he manned the paint and protected the rim. On offense, he rebounded with ease and stretched the floor with his ability to knock down 3-pointers. He’s young for his age so don’t be surprised if he took on a development year. He’s already drawn interest from Wake Forest, Coastal Carolina, George Mason, NC A&T and East Carolina.
Torian Regis – 6’5 – Carolina Wolves
Torian Regis is a 6-foot-5 wing that can get to the rim and finish strong as well as knock down the three ball. He made five 3-pointers and averaged 16.0 points per contest, showing off his all-around floor game and handles in the open court. He’s another prospect that should garner some attention from college programs in the area.
Jarrian Hancock – 6’6 – Carolina Wolves
Jarrian Hancock has the length, athleticism and quickness to emerge as quite the prospect in July. He went off for 22 points, all inside the arc, against Underground Phenoms in an 88-79 victory. Hancock was fun to watch and played above the rim in the victory, showing that he should get some looks at the next level with a big month ahead.
