Justin Powell, North Oldham – Justin has been the top prospect in the class for a long time. With great size, Powell can be a primary ballhandler or play off the ball as a lights out shooter. He should be an impact player at Auburn.
Marques Warrick, Henry Clay – A hot name with coaches over the last few months, Ques is the best Senior in Lexington. He keeps getting more and more college attention while the summer progresses and should land comfortably at the mid major D1 level.
Marcellus Vail, Collins – Another Senior whose stock has been rising over the last few months, Vail has become more than just a shooter. As his rebounding and defense has improved, he has gotten more looks from colleges and will be a D1 signee in the fall.
Howard Fleming, Male – If Howard can stay healthy, he will find himself in the top 3-5 of the class. After earning two D1 offers at the end of June, Fleming’s stock is trending way up and could end up a mid major plus or high major D1 player.
Matt Cromer, South Laurel – One of the best scorers in Southern Kentucky, Matt is also an excellent passer and doesn’t get enough credit for being a good athlete. Cromer should be expected to be the Mr. Basketball Finalist from the 13th region and will sign at the NAIA/D2 level or could even snag some D1 offers with a good July.
Other Names to Know:
Dre Boyd, Warren Central – Boyd has one of the best motors in the Commonwealth and continues to improve as a ball handler.
