2020 6’4 Davell Brown Grant-The rising senior will be one of the key players for Grant this year. With a smooth stroke he keeps his game alive with his jumper. Friday night he started slow but picked up his speed by getting fouled and getting to the line. With a stocky frame at 6’4 he uses his body very well grabbing rebounds and being in good position to score. He works very well out the pick and pop set. He will have to be the leader and calm his young but talented Grant team. Will have a great senior year.
2022 6’3 Julian Naibose Inderkum– Playing with a new squad Julian is finding his place with the Inderkum Tigers. That period has not taken long as Julian will b one of the key players for Inderkum. With a sweet stroke that he can get going at any time was on full display Friday. With his long frame he jumped in the passing lanes and created easy buckets for himself. He also found teammates cutting on fast breaks after steals. With very good rebounding ability he jumped over the defense to grab boards. Improved a lot on aggressiveness.
2020 6’4 Miles Haynes Grant– A great glue guy, Miles does a lot of the dirty work for Grant.Keeping plays alive and grabbing offensive rebounds. Seems to be in the right place at the right time. Having a great motor he plays every position and get it done on both ends. He can be a tremendous spark plug for Grant if they can keep him involved, will be the key to success hi energy is contagious.
2022 6’0 Jake Overbay Lincoln– Jake is setting the tone to be the best player for Lincoln’s Varsity to team. The rising sophomore is deadly from outside. With great range it opens up or the rest of his game. He has great vision in the open court and in sets. The rising sophomore is putting himself to be one of the featured 2022 players in California. Has had a great spring and summer. With good growth and weight gain Jake is becoming more physical and moving his feet on defense much better, is playing hard on both ends. Putting up 20+ points a game.
