#10-Derrick Claxton 6’ 4 Inderkum/Hotshots Elite -super long athletic wing Derek Claxton has burst on the scene this AAU season. Playing for HOTSHOTS Elite 15 you Derek has showed the ability to score the ball on multiple levels. While being able to shoot the catch and shoot three he works well on the low block with a variety of post moves over both shoulders. Using his length and IQ to finish above defenders and grab rebounds while keeping it high to finish offense put backs. Derrick is also very good at gett down hill with his dribble coming into the lane strong after a “Tim Hardaway” move trying to dunk on his defenders. He has a very good motor and counties to get better. A great long term prospect.
#8- Jeremiah Dargan 6’4 2022 De La Salle/Lakeshow-With long arms and strong legs Jeremiah is a very versatile Guard/Wing combo. On his Lakeshow AAU team he runs off ball but for De La Salle he runs some point guard. Which shows the flexibility of his game. While being very athletic, he rebounds above the rim and pushed the break. Finding open runners and pocket passes for 3’ pointers. On defense he keeps his hands in the passing lane which keep him in the steal column. A strong wing who will be a great swiss army knife wing , and elite play maker.
#9-Davion Williams 6’6 Team Lillard/Capital Christain-6’6 Davion williams is probably the most polished Wing /Foward , standing at a firm 6’6 with a stocky body he’s able to battle down with the bigs and keep offensive positions alive. He also has the ability to shoot the deep ball and face up. Prefers to play outside but can get in there and use a couple go to post moves to get an easy bucket. One of the star players playing for Team Lillard 16u Gold.
#12-Leo Wagner 6’4 West Campus/Hotshots Elite- With a smooth European style game Leo Wanger drops into our ranking as the number 12 prospect in the 2022 class in Nor Cal. Has the ability to shoot the ball from 3 with range off the dribble and off the catch and shot. Because he is a very big wing for a freshman he takes defenders down low and in the mid post. He is able to rattle of points in a hurry. A skilled wing heard from multiple D1 schools. Will have a huge summer coming off a huge spring.
