#6-Jake Overbay 5’10 Lincoln/Hotshots Elite– Jake has one of the smoothest shots in the 2022 Nor Cal class. Very lethal from outside off the dribble and off the catch. Jake has polished the move of stop and go and change of speed. Coming up the court with speed to pull up for 3. With great footwork Jake can let it fly coming from ether side of a pick. With good finishing ability around the rim he gets alot of easy layups from cutting hard. Jake’s athletic ability has slowly been increasing. On thing is for sure he will always be a deep threat on the floor.
#5- Davion Wright 6’3 Franklin/The Truth– Being a shooter does not mean only 3 pointers. Davion Wright is an old school guard that gets busy in the mid range. With a strong frame he bumps defenders off their mark and skies to the top of his jump for a pull up. Also can knock it down from deep off the catch. Something that separates Davion from the rest of the class is his his strength. His ability o get to the whole when he wants and finish way above the rim.
#29-Devin Day Modesto Christian/Chuck Hays Elite– When you talk dead eye shooters Devin Day is on of the top shooters in California. His shot selection is fantastic and if he goes up its probably going in. With a building body of muscle Devin runs of of screens and can also create his own shot. With a quick up fake he is blur to the rim and will finish through contact. Will be one of the best % shooters on the west coast.
