[player_tooltip player_id="536246" first="Javon" last="Benson"]Javon Benson Javon Benson 6'8" | PF Ridge View | 2020 State #270 Nation SC – Ridge View HS
Benson 6’8 is ranked #4 in the Palmetto State 2020 class. Benson has the ability to rebound the ball on both ends of the floor very well. Benson likes to play face-up to the basket and can comfortably knockdown the 17-19 footer. Benson will be the leader of this Ridge View HS club this season which will try for a 3-peat in the Class 4A ranks. Benson has already several offers this spring and looks to be a late signee he told Prep Hoops.
[player_tooltip player_id="536239" first="Patrick" last="Iriel"]Patrick Iriel Patrick Iriel 6'9" | PF AC Flora | 2020 State #300 Nation SC – AC Flora HS
Iriel 6’9 keeps improving every time out on the floor. Iriel runs the floor very well and really looks to work inside the paint. Iriel is ranked #7 in the Palmetto State 2020 class. Iriel keeps the ball up high and has great mitts. Iriel picked up plenty offers this spring on the Adidas Gauntlet Circuit with Upward Stars Southeast 2020.
[player_tooltip player_id="843566" first="Cincere" last="Scott"]Cincere Scott Cincere Scott 5'11" | SG Ridge View | 2020 State SC – Ridge View HS
Scott 5’11 combo guard really is a fun player to watch on the court. Scott really wants to score the ball when given the opportunity. Scott started off his career at South Aiken HS before coming over to the Blazers last fall. Scott plays the game with a lot of confidence and swagger on the floor.
[player_tooltip player_id="843581" first="CJ" last="Plantin"]CJ Plantin CJ Plantin 6'4" | SF Westside | 2020 State SC – Westside HS (Anderson)
Plantin seems to be back in the mix with the Rams. Plantin only played a handful of games last season. Plantin 6’4 started off at Pendleton HS for his freshman season before transferring over to Legacy Early College. Plantin seems to be getting back into the swing of things and Prep Hoops will be able to see him and his mates again later this month.
[player_tooltip player_id="751272" first="Emorie" last="Knox"]Emorie Knox Emorie Knox 6'0" | PG Myrtle Beach | 2020 State SC – Myrtle Beach HS
Knox is back to lead the Seahawks offense from the point guard position. Knox 6’0 could be one of the quickest players from end to end in the state with the ball. Knox still must improve his perimeter shooting. Knox has scored 1,050 career points after averaging 16.5 ppg and 5 assists last season. Knox ranks #18 in the Palmetto State 2020 class.
Tristan Freeling Tristan Freeling 6'4" | SF Oceanside Collegiate | 2020 State SC – Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant) (pictured on the front)
Freeling 6’4 has transferred over to nearby Oceanside Collegiate after playing at Wando HS. Freeling was playing on the ball a lot today for the Landsharks. Freeling originally from the State of Oregon plays with TMP on the Grassroots Circuit. Freeling brings some toughness and savvy to the floor for the Landsharks. The Landsharks will look to lead on his senior leadership this coming season.
