Caleb Love 6’3″ CBC: The high-major prospect displayed his playmaking skills and shot-making throughout the event. He spent much of the early part of the day as a facilitator as he constantly found open teammates for easy buckets. As the day wore on, he started to warm up on the offensive end as he hit pull up 3-pointers, scored on tough drives and threw down some impressive dunks. A couple of days later, Love took an unofficial visit to Kansas and picked up an offer from the Jayhawks.
Rashad Weekly-McDaniels 6’0″ Trinity: The physical scoring point guard looked very good as he dropped close to 20 pounds, which has helped his quickness and athleticism. He was in his scoring bag throughout the day, especially in a victory over CBC where he scored at least 30 points. If he wasn’t pulling up from 25 feet, he was hitting defenders with some prime time in and out moves to get to the basket.
Breven McMullen 6’5″ Park Hills Central: The St. Francois County standout displayed his scoring chops from all three levels during the day. His 3-point stroke was pure, but he also showcased his all-around scoring ability from everywhere. He can create offense off the dribble to score on mid-range jumpers, floaters in the lane and finger rolls.
Adam Sommer 6’3″ Parkway South: A tough guard who was excellent as he scored and facilitated with equal effectiveness. His passing was on point as he dropped dimes in the halfcourt and also had some great lead passes from the backcourt to running teammates. He displayed excellent ball toughness against physical pressure and dropped perimeter jumpers from everywhere.
Jacobie Banks 6’0″ Webster Groves: The talented combo guard enjoyed an excellent day as he made an impact at both ends of the floor. He looked strong after missing his junior year of action. He put the ball on the floor and scored in the lane and complimented it with some good and timely 3-point shooting.
Caleb Helm 6’2″ Confluence Prep: A talented guard who was as good as anybody at creating off the dribble and attacking the basket during the event. He displayed good ball handling and several nice escape moves to get to the basket and finish in traffic. He was consistently getting buckets.
