Forsyth Country Day 2023 Guard Jahon Foster: Another young guard with plenty of talent, it will be fun to see him and Will Gray in the backcourt together for FCDS. Foster is a lefty that plays the game at his own pace and got to the spots he wanted at a pretty good rate, showed some ability to score as well as the ability to find others.
Wesleyan Christian 2023 Ty Dixon: He is still finding his way on the court and rightfully so, as he is a young prospect. We saw him makes some plays throughout the day by using his energy to snatch down rebounds as well as working in the paint to keep possessions alive.
North Davidson Guard Isaiah Sanders: Nice upside in this young prospect, one attribute that you notice about him early on is that he doesn’t force plays. Throughout the day he displayed an IQ that you just don’t see from a player that is his age, he’s a very good passer and showed some shooting ability as well.
Bishop McGuinness Dawson McAlhany: The 6’4 rising sophomore is one to keep a close eye on over the summer and into the next high school season. There is a lot to like about his game already but he also has plenty of upside in his game, he has the size wingspan and upside that will make you circle his name on your list after watching him for only a few moments. Knock down shooter from three point land but also a player that can get to the paint and finish when you run him off the line, clearly knows how to win games as he was a part of a state championship squad last season.
Winston Salem Prep Wing Anthony Sellars: If you haven’t added his name to your list yet, then you should do so ASAP as he is a legit prospect with plenty of potential. 6’6 with athleticism and scoring ability is just a small description of what he brings to the table, as he was one of the top performers on the day. He started off the day settling for treys but once he made up his mind to attack the basket, he made himself much more difficult to defend and shots began to fall for him at a very high level.
Parkland Magnet High Omari Bolden: The word that we would use to describe his game would be crafty, he finds ways to put the ball in the bucket regardless of how he is being defended. About 6’2 but did not show any hesitation about going into the paint for offensive buckets or battling inside with taller players to pull down rebounds.
