More than a dozen prospects who were in attendance either play high school or grassroots hoops from the aforementioned region. Below is a rundown of five takeaways relating to several of those local players.
ELITE VIRGINIA 2020’S LOOK STRONG
Five of the current top six prospects from Virginia attended camp this week, and they all showed signs of intriguing potential. Henry Coleman, Mark Williams, and Cameron Thomas are the most well-known of the bunch, but Joe Bamisile and Dylan Cardwell respectively had some great moments.

ZION HARMON IMPRESSESS
Zion Harmon showed why he is one of the elite lead guard options nationally in the 2021 class. His feel for the game is off the charts and it goes well with his superb skill set. Perhaps what was most impressive about Harmon’s performance this week was his tenacious on-ball defense.
GONZAGA’S FRONT-COURT TANDEM TRENDING UP
Terrance Williams and Myles Stute are two of the most recruit-able forwards you will find in the Mid-Atlantic Region. They’re both excellent students who can fill a myriad of roles on the basketball court. Stute and Williams both shot the ball well, defended intelligently, and made their presence felt on the glass.
2021 STUDS WAIT IN THE WINGS
There are three local 2021 prospects whose phones should start buzzing with calls from college coaches not too long past midnight tonight. Trevor Keels, Efton Reid, and JT Thor have each showed signs of improvement. As the camp progressed, their comfort level with the camp setting got better and their level of play was raised as a result.
POTENTIAL EVIDENT IN WALKER
Jarace Walker was one of the youngest players in the camp, but definitely showed he belonged. When you consider his superb physical profile in conjunction with his continuously improving skill set, it’s easy to see why he is considered an elite level recruit nationally in the 2022 class.
