Alexander Becoming A Viable Piece For Bullis
Malcolm Alexander has an opportunity this upcoming season to play an important role on a talented Bullis team that has big aspirations in winning the IAC this year. Last night Bullis was without their best scoring option in 2022 Rodney Rice but it was Alexander who stepped up and led Bullis in scoring with 11 points and also bringing in 7 rebounds. Alexander might be someone that gets lost in the shuffle for Bullis but I expect him to definitely get noticed the rest of this summer.
Devin Ceaser Looking To Take Next Step
St. Mary’s Ryken is currently in a big rebuild but they have some good momentum right now as they are undefeated at 8-0 in summer league. The leader of this team is rising point guard, Devin Ceaser, who is currently averaging 18.6 points per game which puts him at 9th right now in the league. Look for Ceaser to continue to get better before the start of next high school as he putting together a nice summer and it sounds like colleges are starting to take more notice.
Jamel Melvin Puts Up Monster Performance
Photo Credit – Capitol HoopsMelvin by far put up the most impressive performances of summer league on Monday night finishing with a triple double including 24 points, 10 rebounds and 11 blocks. Jamel Melvin has been one of the best rim protectors I have seen this summer standing at 6’9. I would not surprised to see some low majors or smaller mid major schools to try to land the 2020 forward out of Potomac School.
