Jefferson and Roosevelt often reload because there are talented players coming up from their younger teams or from middle school. Here are the top young players we noticed.

Emanuel Washington (2020 Jefferson) - Athletic 5-foot-10 combo guard. Works hard on both ends, can create off the bounce and spot up and knock down open threes. Coaching staff compares him positively to Charlez Douglas, last year's tenth man.

Allyion Ford (2020 Jefferson) - Lefty 5-foot-10 combo guard with a solid frame. Can handle the ball a little and hit the occasional jump shot. The key will be playing within himself and not trying to do too much.  Will likely be a deep reserve on the varsity squad.

Sanborne Melson (2023 Jefferson) - Tough, 5-foot-11, combo guard that is physically mature for his age.  Takes it to the basket strong and finishes and can hit the perimeter jumper.  Younger brother of former Demo standout Silas Melson.

Dontae Myrick (2021
