The league, which tipped on Tuesday, is on tap on Tuesdays and Thursday thru June 27.
The exception is June 20, with no games scheduled since so many squads are bound for Phoenix and a massive high school team even being held there June 21-23, which can be viewed by NCAA Division I-affiliated coaching staffs.
On Thursday, Corona Centennial will play consecutive games, beginning at 2 p.m., against the host Braves and Sonora (3:15).
Gahr faces Long Beach Poly at 4:30, followed by Compton and Sonora (5:45). The Braves and Dominguez conclude with a game set for 7 o’clock.
Centennial and St. John Bosco were among the eight programs in the CIF Southern Section’s Open Division playoff field last season.
Coach Josh Giles’ Centennial Huskies return starters in senior-to-be guards D.J. Davis and Paris Dawson.
The Braves (coached by Matt Dunn) return multiple key performers, including Class of 2020 guard Josh Camper (PICTURED).
Open Division runner-up Bishop Montgomery plays in league next week, with notable June 11 games vs. Damien and Long Beach Poly.
