2022 6’2 Corey Yeager Grant- Corey has been on fire since aau ended and it has not stopped during high school summer basketball. With looks like he has been in the weight room Corey started the game finishing at the rim and blowing by defenders. Using his fast quick step he got to the rim easy. Knocking down 3’s and getting and 1’s Corey is showing his ability to play all levels 3 levels ofgame. With lots of seniors leaving Grant they will look to Corey to do lots of their scoring and running the point guard position.
2022 Miles Byrd 6’4 Linclon (Stockton )-Miles is a new prospect and will turn lots of heads as he gets older. The slender lefty has great pace to his game. Changing speeds in the paint and finishing with a long extended hand. Miles has a great stroke knocking the long ball down with ease and keep defenders honest. His passing ability is very elite with pin point no looks and beautiful bounce passes. A great prospect to keep an eye on.
2021 Jonathan Schooley 6’3 Inderkum– Jonathan has much improved IQ and overall flow to the game. With some of the best athletic ability in the state Jon Jon makes great plays in the open court and looks to finish plays with big dunks. He has also shown improvement on his jumper and his overall guard foot work. He is turning into a leader for his Inderkum team, calling plays and making the right reads during plays. Looking to separate himself during is junior year.
2022 Derrick Claxton 6’4 Inderkum-Derrick is a man among boys. He is a very calm and smooth elite scorer. With great back to the basket game he can finish over both shoulders and overpower defenders. He has a very much improved handle that is used is short burst to blow but defender to the rim to usually try and dunk on them. With his very good athletic ability Derrick can Euro step past a defender and dunk and also grab rebounds out of the sky. Derrick is turning into the best player for Inderkum and his tenanted are all in for it. #10 in our Prep Hoops Nor Cal 2022 rankings.
