We wanted to give college coaches a guide to the players that will be participating in the event. Next up is our examination of the shooting guards and small forwards at event!
With the 2020 class it is a strong group with 8 of the top 24 overall prospects in the class playing. That is led by #3 overall Keshawn Williams (Bloom) who is coming off a monster spring. Ramean Hinton (Curie) is a two way wing that plays with a high-motor. Jayden Johnson (Batavia), Jeremiah Williams (St. Laurence), Dante Maddox (Bloom), Connor Kochera (St. Viator), Christian Shumate (Plainfield East), and Darius Burford (Bolingbrook) are all for sure D1 prospects. An intriguing sleeper to watch is Lashawn Johnson (East St. Louis) who has helium after the spring.
Want the best of the best in 2021 class? How about the top 3 overall prospects that are all wings! Max Christie (Rolling Meadows) leads the way as the #1 player in the class with a long list of colleges pursuing him! Bryce Hopkins (Fenwick) and Brandon Weston (Morgan Park) are also high-major players who will receive lots of attention this week. Fellow top 20 prospects Isaiah Barnes (OPRF), Jaylin Gibson (Evanston), John Poulakidas (Neuqua Valley), Troy D’Amico (Niles Notre Dame), Louis Lesmond (Niles Notre Dame), Louis Lesmond (Niles Notre Dame), and Blake Peters (Evanston) make an insanely strong wing group for D1 coaches to get an early look at!
