We wanted to give college coaches a guide to the players that will be participating in the event. Here we look at the point guards that will be playing!
Starting out with the 2020 class it is headlined by the top prospect in the state in Adam Miller (Morgan Park). The dynamic five-star talent will have tons of high-major coaches following him all weekend. The second highest ranked point guard in the class that will be there is Marcus Watson. He is also from Morgan Park. Watson led the EYBL in assists this spring. There are five other top 50 overall prospects at the lead guard spot to watch in Aquan Smart (Niles North), Beau Frericks (Cary Grove), Donovan Newby (Bloom), Luke Scheffers (St. Charles North), and Taaj Davis (Aurora Christian).
The three of the top four point guards in the 2021 class will be playing. That is led by Niles Notre Dame point guard Anthony Sayles who is coming off an injury this spring. There are two guards from the Young & Reckless travel team program to watch in Kimahri Wilson (Carmel), and Isaiah Stafford (Bolingbrook).
