Sioux Falls Lincoln 6-foot-2 guard is a player that caught the attention of several Prep Hoops writers this spring competing with BBA Force. PHD spoke with Sam today about basketball in South Dakota. 

"The highlight of playing with BBA Force is just playing against some really good competition this summer and giving these really solid teams a run for their money," Fawcett explained.  "There's nothing I like more than frustrating a team that thinks they should beat us easily. I’ve also been putting up bigger numbers more consistently this summer and I can’t wait to carry this trend over into high school ball."

Lincoln HS won 19 games in 2018-19 and had the best regular season record in Class AA basketball.  With every day in the gym on his own, in practice, or competing, Sam is preparing for a state title run in 2020. 

"We have a lot of returning players on the varsity squad and I think we have a lot of chemistry together," Sam explained.  "We are all expecting a big year and pushing each other to make that happen.
