Recruiting Report: Henry Coleman (2020)
Henry Coleman impressed last week at Top-100 Camp. The versatile, energetic forward from Richmond showcased his expanding skill set in front of coaches and scouts alike. Coleman discussed a few topics relating to recruitment and his overall game during a recent interview with Prep Hoops.
PH: Which schools do you think are prioritizing you right now?
HC: “There are a few. I haven’t visited any recently, but several have come in to see me. Nate James from Duke, Coach (Jerry) Stackhouse from Vanderbilt, Coach (Robert) Kirby from Georgetown, and obviously Coach (Mike) Young from Virginia Tech. Coach (Tony) Bennett from Virginia came by for a home visit.”
PH: What are the important factors in your decision?
HC: “Just being comfortable with the staff and the players. I feel like nowadays a lot of guys aren’t comfortable with the players, just more comfortable with the staff. So getting to know some of the players. Contacting them through social media and all my visits.”
PH: Who do you model your game after?
HC: “Really Draymond (Green) and Kawhi (Leonard). Two guys that really do whatever it takes to win a basketball game. We’ve seen that in the Finals in the last couple of weeks. Both those guys have just been unbelievable, especially Draymond. He really stepped up with KD being out.”
