It is still early to see just how good this class really is, but we definitely have some kids that are worth tracking as time goes along. This list is strictly based off of individual performances in the games we saw.
2022 Quaker Slam Standouts:
2022 6’3 G Logan Britt (Seattle Academy) – Logan is a strong, young player that had one of the better motors in the event. He is scrappy and aggressive and earns a fair amount of his playing time through his hustle, but he showed some glimpses of having a solid skill set. He can attack the basket to score and elevate in the mid range. He plays behind some good 2021’s so he is not the go-to player at this point, but he may have one of the higher ceilings on the roster.
2022 6’5 SF Dakota Joseph (Mariner HS) – Possibly the best performing freshman throughout the event when you talk about game by game consistency. Dakota plays the game hard with zero extras. He does not worry about foul calls, mistakes or anything that could distract him from his game. He made multiple winning plays to help Mariner knock off Garfield. He drives and kicks and he can drive to score as well. An underrated prospect to watch! *Feature image
2022 6’6 SF Mo Jackson (Eastside Catholic HS) – One of the highest ceilings out of any freshman in the event, he just hasn’t put it all together yet. He is obviously making the transition to play more on the wing and working on his passing and decision making, but he has good length and size to play the 3 spot of the floor. He is a plus athlete and has solid shooting form.
2022 6’1 G Koren Johnson (Garfield HS) – Naturally talented guard that make really make plays off the bounce. He is a solid athlete with good body control drawing fouls and finishing through contact. Playing through mistakes and continuing to stay positive through good and bad plays is the next step Koren can make to help him reach his great potential.
2022 6’7 PF Tyler Lindhardt (King’s HS) – We only caught one of Tyler’s games and it was not his best performance I’ve seen him have, but he still stood out nonetheless. He has a strong frame and high release on his jump shot. Tyler has a nice mixture of size and skill overall. How much taller he grows and how his explosive athleticism develops will play a role in his recruitment here pretty soon.
