Rayford is currently 6’5 who is slotted 9th right now in our Maryland/DC 2021 rankings. In my viewing of him on Friday night he finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 assists.
He talked about the game winning three he hit with 2.2 seconds left.
“It felt great to see it go in, I was kind of off earlier in the game so at the end it was good to see it go in.”
He was aggressive with the ball in his hands while attacking the basket and that is something he kind of mentioned when describing his game, ““I like to kind of get my shots in mid range and then also going to the basket. I think I do a good job of drawing fouls and getting to the free throw line.”
Jordan talked about he is definitely going to use playing in summer league as an advantage to himself to work on a particular part of his game.
“I am definitely trying to get better overall but most importantly my three-point shot and becoming more consistent from the three-point line so that is definitely something I am trying to work on.”
Right now it is a little bit early on in his recruitment but expect more schools to show interest in July and heading into next high school season.
There is one local school already showing a good amount of interest and will look to get him on campus soonfor a visit.
“I think I am about to go and visit Mt. St. Mary’s and take a tour of the campus.
